How do I express myself through movement and rhythm?
How can I convey emotions and experiences with my body?
How can I collaborate with others through dance?
What does it feel like to move together?
What can my body achieve?

The program “I Like to Move It, Move It” invites children to explore bodily expression through playful activities and experiential games, emphasizing the development of a positive relationship with their own body within safe and clearly defined boundaries.

Dance activities, games, the use of objects, and music–movement experiences create a space of freedom where children can express themselves, strengthen teamwork and collaboration, and cultivate their imagination.

Their active physical engagement encourages the connection between theoretical concepts and lived experience, contributing to their understanding of themselves as an embodied part of the world.

InDancEdu

InDancEdu is a collective of educators and artists with a vision to highlight dance as a pedagogical tool in both school and non-formal educational settings. Our work focuses on the inclusion and participation of students from vulnerable social groups, emphasizing intercultural perspectives, collaboration, and the improvement of the learning experience. Dance is used as a powerful tool for educational empowerment and for embracing diversity – not only cultural but also social. Our aim is to make movement a means of learning, expression, and connection, accessible to everyone.
