Lara Buffard

Lara Buffard is a French performance artist, designer, and maker, whose work blends surreal visuals with symbolic depth. Rooted in personal narratives and feminist strategies, her art explores the complexities of living in a gendered world. Lara transforms embroidery, textiles and needlework into acts of resistance, reclaiming traditionally feminine crafts as tools for storytelling.

With a background in Museology and Theatre Performance, Lara invites audiences into imaginative worlds where care, identity and rebellion intertwine—challenging norms and reshaping meaning through texture, ritual, and poetic transformation.

She is working internationally and is based between Greece, the UK and Switzerland.
